It allows the connection of two straight tubes, either in inches or metric size. The size (OD – outer diameter) is available is 6mm to 42mm and 1/8” to 2”. Double Ferrule tube fitting, also known as instrumentation fittings, makes use of a two ferrule mechanical grip design to secure tubing connections.
